Our client, a leading Tree services business based in Hamilton, is seeking a reliable and passionate Lead Arborist to join and lead their team who service the Waikato region. This permanent role offers a chance to work with a company that values communication and going the extra mile.

  • $35.00 – $43.00 ph. + All equipment provided + Use of Ute

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in tree felling, landscaping, stump grinding, and land clearing. The successful candidate will be Level 4 qualified, hold a class 2 license, and be available to work 40-50 hours a week from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in tree felling, landscaping, stump grinding, and land clearing (4-5 years’ experience)
  • Ability to work 40-50 hours per week
  • Passionate about various aspects of arboriculture
  • Strong work ethic and dedication to high-quality work
  • Experience with climbing & climbing equipment – SRT experience is highly advantageous
  • Proven experience supporting and leading a crew
  • Physical fitness

Qualifications:

  • Level 4 qualification Arboriculture and Class 2 license (company is willing to help the right candidate obtain this)
