New Zealand is known for its high quality of life, with excellent healthcare and education systems. It is politically stable, and consistently ranks high in global indices for low corruption and ease of doing business.
We have a solid legal system, and there are no capital gains taxes, estate taxes, or wealth taxes.
These are all factors that make it a very attractive proposition for high net worth individuals wanting to apply under the Active Investor Plus category.
This Visa allows you to live, work, and study in New Zealand, and you can apply for permanent residence after 4 years. You can include your partner and dependent children aged up to 24. As an added attraction, while you could stay here year-round on this visa, you can qualify for residence after spending 117 days here across the 4-year visa if you have met the investment requirements. This is ideal for Investors who want to continue to attend to their business and investment interests in other countries.

- Listed Equities: Investments in publicly listed companies, weighted at 1x
- Philanthropy: Donations to philanthropic causes, also weighted at 1x
The application process requires knowledge and care to navigate successfully. We are experienced and have successfully assisted clients under a range of Business and Investor visas over time.

You can keep the bulk of your funds in holding investments but must have made a partial Active Investment that meets your visa requirements during that time. You will have 36 months to complete the full Active Investment, and must hold your nominated funds in approved Active Investments for the final 12 months to meet your residence conditions.
