We make a complicated process feel simple

Sourcing talent internationally means casting a wider net, but it’s not just about numbers—it’s about finding the right fit. We start by understanding your business needs and the roles you’re looking to fill. We search for qualified foreign workers and evaluate skills, experience and cultural fit to ensure compatibility with your organisation.

We work alongside you through the interview and offer process, and then our support extends beyond recruitment to also guide both you and your candidate(s) through obtaining the right visas and managing immigration.

Immigration rules are strict, and getting them wrong can lead to delays or worse, rejected applications. We stay up-to-date with New Zealand’s immigration policies to ensure your business is always compliant with immigration requirements, including visa renewals, employee records, and any changes in immigration policies that might impact your workforce.

On-going support for migrant workers

We know that bringing a skilled migrant into your business is just the first step – helping them get settled in New Zealand is just as important. That’s why we offer full support for your new hires, making sure they (and their families) feel comfortable and at home from day one. From finding housing and setting up bank accounts to navigating local services like healthcare and schooling, we can guide them through all the details. This way, you don’t have to worry, and your new recruit can focus on their role without the stress of figuring out the basics, ensuring a smooth transition for everyone.

Frequently Asked Questions

It depends on the role and where we’re sourcing from, but in most cases you can expect the end-to-end process — from briefing us through to your new hire starting work — to take anywhere from three to six months. The recruitment side moves relatively quickly; the immigration piece (obtaining the right visa) is where the timeline can vary. We keep you informed at every stage so there are no surprises.

The most common pathway for skilled workers is the Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV), which requires you to be a registered accredited employer with Immigration New Zealand. We can help you get accredited if you aren’t already, and our licensed immigration advisers will identify the right visa pathway for each candidate — whether that’s the AEWV, a specific work-to-residence pathway, or another visa type that fits their situation.

Yes. Unless you are employing a New Zealand or Australian citizen or permanent resident. Under New Zealand’s current immigration settings, most employers hiring overseas workers need to be accredited with Immigration New Zealand before they can offer a job to someone on an Accredited Employer Work Visa. We can walk you through what accreditation involves and manage the application process alongside you — it’s one less thing to worry about.

We recruit globally. We have established networks and on-the-ground recruiters in multiple regions, including the Philippines, South Africa, the United Kingdom, and across Asia and South Asia. If you’re looking for talent from a specific country or region, just ask — our reach is broad and our connections run deep.

Finding someone who can do the job is only part of the equation — we know that. Before we start searching, we take time to understand your team culture, your values, and the kind of person who thrives in your environment. We then screen candidates not just on skills and experience, but on communication style, work ethic, and how they’re likely to integrate with your existing team. Our recruiters interview candidates in-country, so you’re getting a genuine read on the person, not just a CV.

This is where a lot of agencies stop — but we don’t. We offer hands-on settlement support for your new hire and their family, covering everything from finding housing and opening a bank account, to navigating healthcare and schooling. A settled employee is a productive employee, and we want your new recruit hitting the ground running from day one rather than spending their first weeks stressed about the basics.

As an accredited employer, you have ongoing obligations to Immigration New Zealand — including keeping accurate records, ensuring your employee is working in the role they were hired for, and staying on top of visa expiry dates and renewals. Immigration rules do change, and getting caught out can have serious consequences. We monitor compliance on your behalf and keep you informed of any changes that could affect your workforce, so you can focus on running your business.
